rcourtman 16c81784b9 Keep agent-reported disks out of cluster member state 
An agent on a Proxmox cluster node reports SMART data for the node's
disks, and the registry stamps each disk with its node's Proxmox
identity so it stays discoverable in the Proxmox workspace. The
/api/connections member projection accepted any resource carrying that
identity, so each disk merged into its node's member row, adding its
model name to the aliases and its health to the node state.

A disk with a risk warning (for example 60C or more) therefore made an
actively reporting node show Stale. Since members are merged by
freshness, the row flipped every time the agent report and the Proxmox
poll swapped places, several times a minute on a customer's three-node
cluster running 6.4.5.

Only node resources now compose cluster members. The disk keeps its
ownership facet, risk and storage evidence unchanged.

Internal API Package

This directory contains the API server implementation for Pulse.

Important Note About frontend-modern/

The frontend-modern/ subdirectory that appears here is:

  • AUTO-GENERATED during builds
  • NOT the source code - just a build artifact
  • IN .gitignore - never committed
  • REQUIRED BY GO - The embed directive needs it here

Frontend Development Location

👉 Edit frontend files at: ${PULSE_REPOS_DIR}/pulse/frontend-modern/src/

Why This Structure?

Go's //go:embed directive has limitations:

  1. Cannot use ../ paths to access parent directories
  2. Cannot follow symbolic links
  3. Must embed files within the Go module

This is a known Go limitation and our structure works around it.
