Right-click in the container bash modal and the Host Console did nothing
useful, and Ctrl+V was sent to the shell as a literal ^V, so there was no
reliable way to paste.
- Right-click copies an active selection, otherwise pastes from the
clipboard in secure contexts. Over plain HTTP the native menu is kept
and the terminal is focused so its Paste entry reaches xterm.
- Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Shift+V and Shift+Insert skip xterm key translation so
the browser's native paste event fires.
- rightClickSelectsWord is disabled so macOS right-click pastes instead
of always selecting and copying a word.
- Clipboard read or copy failures surface a toast; the selection is only
cleared after a successful copy.
