Preserve existing polling evidence before a connection test updates its ledger. Explain freshness, optional telemetry and session turnover using the read-only projection, correct the 60-second default, and keep diagnostic steps free of credentials and destructive reproductions.

Contract-Neutral: Documentation and existing-guide checks only; no runtime, API, transport, identity, access or retention change.
