Conditional Bash callers hid a failed logger write behind successful stdout. Attempt both sinks, return the first failed sink, and exercise the unchanged draining collector and recovery path with the real log primitive and confined external logger. Preserve the distinction between observed pipeline completion and native or customer recovery.
