Completed PR #2795 backend and four native Unix checks fail because this fixture extracts perform_update without its required state reader. Exercise the real reader and restart helpers with a complete active manager observation, retaining versioned installer and signature URL assertions. No production or recovery policy changes.

Contract-Neutral: Reconcile the existing versioned-URL fixture with the already-reviewed fail-closed service observation contract; no product behavior or validation threshold changes.
