The shared private-response helper supports DELETE for reviewed RBAC recipes. Its older Go fixture still expected DELETE to stop before curl, failing the containing backend shard and all four native Unix jobs. Exercise unsupported PATCH instead; retain every credential, preparation, request and privacy fence without changing the documented helper.

Contract-Neutral: Test-only correction of a stale unsupported-method control; no runtime, API, installer, guide or frontend behaviour changes.
