## Progress log
- **2026-10-13 (M10, #1757):** Office export keeps each dotted-leader contents entry in one paragraph, with its page number, instead of inferring table cells from its separate text objects.
- **2026-10-20 (M6, calculation order page):** Prepare a form ▸ Calculation order, a page of its own, lists the calculated fields in the order they calculate with their formulas and values, moved with Up/Down arrows (as Acrobat's Set Field Calculation Order), Alt+↑/↓ or by dragging. A card says what is wrong with the order and holds Fix order; a loop has a card of its own that opens one of its formulas. On the page, each calculated field shows its step, and arrows show what the field in focus reads and what reads it. Estimates unchanged.
- **2026-10-20 (M6, calculation order):** The order a form's fields calculate in (`/CO`) is read, checked, fixed and set headlessly with `form_calculation_order`: it says which fields read one calculated later (they show stale values), which read each other in a loop, and which the PDF's order leaves out; Fix order moves only what must move, in one undo step, and the form recalculates. Editing a formula no longer moves its field to the end of the order, and a field the order lists twice calculates once. Estimates unchanged.
- **2026-10-19 (M6, renames keep formulas):** Renaming a field renames it in every calculation that reads it, in the same undo step: `AFSimple_Calculate` field lists, simplified field notation (the comment and the JavaScript after it) and `getField` calls naming it in one string literal; the rest of each script is kept as written. A sum used to drop the renamed field, notation read it as 0 and a script kept a stale value. Field Properties says how many formulas changed and `form_set_props` lists them as `formulas_updated`. Names built at run time and other events' scripts are not rewritten. Estimates unchanged.

Redaction cleans indirect and form structure references, preserving surviving form tags. Redaction retires inherited resource dictionaries, so a parent `/Pages` can't keep a removed XObject reachable; unredacted pages are left untouched. Image redaction removes alternate images and unsupported masks only on affected images. Changed marked-content spans lose replacement descriptions; untouched spans keep theirs. Hidden-text cleanup retires unused named descriptions across inherited/shared page and form resources (64 focused tests and scoped Rust 1.96 Clippy/wasm checks pass; publication CI pending). Word/LibreOffice rendering of the positioned output remains unverified. Pictures on positioned pages are DrawingML anchors behind the text (a VML rectangle with an image showed no picture, #1936; not yet opened in Word); a Word file embeds at most 1000 pictures and 512 MiB of them. The earlier flowing output was checked with macOS textutil and opened in Microsoft Word (Windows). Characters XML forbids are dropped; the page size stays within Word's 22 in. Not yet: exact font matching, vector rules, arbitrary paint-order/transparency, colour per run within a paragraph, general exact layout fidelity."

notes = "Flowing Word document: paragraphs, Heading 1/2 from larger text, bold/italic, text colour (fill as sRGB; gray/CMYK converted naively, colour spaces via cs/sc read as black), borderless detected tables with spans/empty cells (a row whose blocks run on into each other, such as a link or superscript inside a sentence, or overlap, as a paragraph's lines do, is text and not a table row, #2806), per-page sections/sizes, the page colour (a full-page opaque fill painted first, such as Edit a PDF ▸ Background) as the document background when every page shares one non-white colour (Word has no per-page background, so differing colours are dropped; #2992; checked in the XML only, not yet opened in Word), and positioned editable text/artwork only for pages with rotated text or text overlapped by an image or watermark-sized text, other pages flowing with inline images (#773); synthetic invoice regression; dotted-leader contents entries keep the title, dots and page number together in separate paragraphs (#1757); the emitted package validates with Open XML SDK 2.20 (Office 2010 schema).
