refactorings as well as changing over to use strings messages delimited by \n since serializing json was resulting in inconsistent results. the string allows easier debugging for now

use linefeed delimiting on both sides. newtonsoft (c#) does not add them by default. golang does... also add some message boxes to point out places that jeremy needs to fix stuffs
