Wire the InformationalEvent signal through the decision engine:
- New dispatch entry (InformationalEvent, 1) → HandleInformationalEventV1.
- Handler lives in DecisionEngine.Shared.cs next to the other neutral
observation handlers. Copies the signal payload 1:1 into a single
EmitEventTimelineEntry effect; DecisionState is only touched by the
standard StepIndex / LastAppliedSignalOrdinal bookkeeping.
- Missing or empty eventType / source produce a DeadEnd transition with
reason informational_event_missing_{key} so malformed signals are
visible in the transitions table rather than silently lost. Bookkeeping
still advances on a DeadEnd so replay cannot re-apply the ordinal.
- dataJson payload key is reserved for future JSON-blob expansion;
today's reducer forwards it verbatim (ends up as a flat Data string
in the emitted event). Docstring clarifies the reserved status.
- 13 xUnit tests cover taken-transition + one effect, payload copy
identity, state / hypothesis / deadline invariance, bookkeeping,
all deadend branches, and schema-version fallthrough.
Single-rail pipe is now functionally complete end-to-end (signal post →
reducer → effect → EventTimelineEmitter → TelemetryEventEmitter). Next
subtasks wire up the V2.Core signal-post helper (4.3) and the caller-
side architecture test (4.4).

Autopilot Monitor
Advanced monitoring and troubleshooting solution for Windows Autopilot deployments. Gain full visibility into every enrollment session with a detailed event timeline, fleet health dashboards, and session reporting. Define custom analysis rules to automatically detect issues and gather rules to collect targeted evidence. Retrieve diagnostics packages on demand, configure agent settings like auto-reboot behavior and automatic timezone adjustment — all managed centrally from the web dashboard.
Private Preview
Autopilot Monitor is currently running as a Private Preview. Visit autopilotmonitor.com to request access and learn more.
Overview
Autopilot Monitor provides real-time tracking, intelligent diagnostics, and automated troubleshooting for Windows Autopilot enrollment processes. It consists of:
- Bootstrap Script — PowerShell script deployed via Intune that starts monitoring early in the enrollment process
- Monitoring Agent — Lightweight .NET application that collects telemetry and evidence during enrollment
- Backend API — Azure Functions-based ingestion and processing pipeline
- Web Dashboard — Next.js application for real-time monitoring and fleet analytics
