Oliver Kieselbach a63512d139 feat(agent-v2): post SessionStarted signal after register-session (V2 reducer anchor)
V2 parity lack: EnrollmentOrchestrator.Start never synthesised a SessionStarted
signal, so HandleSessionStartedV1 (DecisionEngine.Shared.cs:36) was unreachable in
production. DecisionState.Stage stayed at Unknown for the entire session lifetime
while raw signals (ESP / Hello / etc.) landed on an uninitialised state. The
reducer tolerated this silently, but it left us no session-anchor timestamp and
no early stage-classification hook.

Program.cs now posts SessionStarted directly after register-session success, with
the tenant-registered metadata (EnrollmentType, IsHybridJoin, ValidatedBy, ...)
as signal payload. Skipped on WhiteGlove Part-2 resume (orchestrator posts
SessionRecovered instead) and on admin preemption (subsequent AdminPreemption
signal drives straight to terminal; see next commit).

Follow-up: the reducer handler currently only bumps StepIndex - a later patch
should have it consume the enrollmentType/isHybridJoin payload for flow routing.

Autopilot Monitor

Advanced monitoring and troubleshooting solution for Windows Autopilot deployments. Gain full visibility into every enrollment session with a detailed event timeline, fleet health dashboards, and session reporting. Define custom analysis rules to automatically detect issues and gather rules to collect targeted evidence. Retrieve diagnostics packages on demand, configure agent settings like auto-reboot behavior and automatic timezone adjustment — all managed centrally from the web dashboard.

Overview

Autopilot Monitor provides real-time tracking, intelligent diagnostics, and automated troubleshooting for Windows Autopilot enrollment processes. It consists of:

  • Bootstrap Script — PowerShell script deployed via Intune that starts monitoring early in the enrollment process
  • Monitoring Agent — Lightweight .NET application that collects telemetry and evidence during enrollment
  • Backend API — Azure Functions-based ingestion and processing pipeline
  • Web Dashboard — Next.js application for real-time monitoring and fleet analytics
