Oliver Kieselbach 9b9ad61315 refactor(v2): extract AgentBootstrap from Program.RunAgent (PR2)
Phase 1+2 of RunAgent (previous-exit classification, persisted-config
load, TenantId resolution, AgentConfiguration build, SessionId
persistence, completion-marker / emergency-break guards, optional
--await-enrollment cert wait) move into Runtime/AgentBootstrap.cs.

The static helpers (DetectPreviousExit, TryReadBootstrapConfig,
TryReadAwaitEnrollmentConfig, DeleteAwaitEnrollmentConfig,
CheckEnrollmentCompleteMarker, CheckSessionAgeEmergencyBreak,
BuildAgentConfiguration) stay on Program (Program.Guards.cs) and are
called via internal access from the new Runtime namespace.

BootstrapResult is the discriminated outcome — ShouldExit + ExitCode
for the V1-parity early-return paths (0 = guard handled, 2 = no
TenantId, 3 = await timeout), or a Continue payload carrying
AgentConfiguration, SessionIdPersistence, PreviousExitSummary,
IsWhiteGloveResume and the cleanup-service factory.

RunAgent's first ~95 lines collapse to a single AgentBootstrap.Run
call + result destructuring. No behavioural change: every helper
invocation, exit code and side effect (sessionPersistence.Delete on
--new-session, IsWhiteGloveResume snapshot before GetOrCreate,
DeleteAwaitEnrollmentConfig on cert success) is preserved.

Tests: 4 new AgentBootstrapTests (marker-handled exit, age-emergency
exit, continue-with-bootstrap-config, first_run classification);
existing 18 ProgramGuardsTests still pass; full V2.Core suite 745/746
(1 known RecoveryPathTests threading flake).

Autopilot Monitor

Advanced monitoring and troubleshooting solution for Windows Autopilot deployments. Gain full visibility into every enrollment session with a detailed event timeline, fleet health dashboards, and session reporting. Define custom analysis rules to automatically detect issues and gather rules to collect targeted evidence. Retrieve diagnostics packages on demand, configure agent settings like auto-reboot behavior and automatic timezone adjustment — all managed centrally from the web dashboard.

Overview

Autopilot Monitor provides real-time tracking, intelligent diagnostics, and automated troubleshooting for Windows Autopilot enrollment processes. It consists of:

  • Bootstrap Script — PowerShell script deployed via Intune that starts monitoring early in the enrollment process
  • Monitoring Agent — Lightweight .NET application that collects telemetry and evidence during enrollment
  • Backend API — Azure Functions-based ingestion and processing pipeline
  • Web Dashboard — Next.js application for real-time monitoring and fleet analytics

Architecture
