go test's testing framework buffers t.Logf output per-test and releases it only on PASS/FAIL. Long subtests (Phase8Acct_AccountScoping ~115s, Internal_NLB ~60s, Phase8b_VPCSubnetE2E 2-3m, Phase8d_NATGateway ~90s) therefore went silent in CI for the entire subtest duration, even with sed -u line-buffering in the workflow pipeline. harness.Phase already wrote to os.Stdout directly for this reason. Extend the pattern: have Step and Detail dual-emit — write the same line to os.Stdout (streams live) AND t.Logf (keeps JUnit per-test attribution). The duplicate on a failure is acceptable; both copies carry identical content. mulga-siv-103 (note: numbering skipped past siv-102 which was already filed in the parent branch).
