Josh Siviour e88691e64d feat(imds): serve the cluster services domain, not amazonaws.com (#1072)
An AWS SDK's default endpoint resolution builds
{service}.{region}.{services/domain}. IMDS previously answered that
leaf with the literal amazonaws.com, so a workload that forgot its
endpoint override silently reached real AWS instead of failing.

Now that service-endpoint DNS resolves cluster-side, serve the
cluster's configured AWS.ServicesDomain instead, threaded from
config through vpcd.Config into NewIMDSServiceImpl. An empty value
fails closed with a 404 rather than ever falling back to
amazonaws.com. services/partition is unchanged: it still returns
aws, since AWS SDKs carry hardcoded partition tables.

Josh Siviour 969163c114 feat(imds): serve block-device-mapping from instance block device data (#1067)
* feat(imds): serve block-device-mapping from instance block device data

The aws-ebs-csi-driver's IMDS client fails outright on this 404,
aborting IMDSInstanceInfo before it reaches the Kubernetes fallback the
driver otherwise uses. Serve ami, root, and one ebsN per attached EBS
volume from the instance's existing BlockDeviceMappings, root device
first, matching how the driver counts "ebs" occurrences in the listing.

* style: trim block-device-mapping comments

joshsiv-mulga 8006cc2f17 docs: SEO pass on the IAM docs cluster
Rework the frontmatter titles and descriptions for the five Identity
docs so each leads with the AWS concept term users actually search, and
add contextual in-prose links between them. Only the roles and instance
profiles page currently earns search impressions, so it now links to all
four siblings and each sibling links back into the cluster.

Josh Siviour b9898a7e88 feat(imds): allow HttpTokens=optional per instance (#664)
Spinifex rejected HttpTokens=optional and served 401 to every untokened
GET, which is stricter than AWS, whose own default is optional. That made
Windows guests impossible: cloudbase-init is the only realistic Windows
bootstrap agent and its EC2Service has no IMDSv2 token support in any
released version, so a Windows instance never received its hostname,
injected password or user-data.

HttpTokens is now settable at launch and via ModifyInstanceMetadataOptions,
accepting optional or required. The launch default stays required, so an
instance that does not ask for IMDSv1 never gets it. Every other
metadata-option field keeps its existing rejection.

The untokened path is reachable without credentials, so the per-instance
lookup is cached with a short TTL; without that a guest could drive
unbounded DescribeInstances fan-outs. A valid token short-circuits before
the lookup, so compliant IMDSv2 clients are unaffected.
