* feat(nodes): hide hub-only views when active node is remote
Fleet, Schedules, Audit, Logs, and Auto-Update operate on hub-owned state
(node registry, fleet schedules, centralized audit, fleet-wide log
aggregation, fleet-wide update preview). When the active node is remote,
proxying those surfaces would show that remote's own disconnected state
instead of the hub's. Hide them from the nav strip and force-redirect to
Home if one was open during the node switch.
Backend hubOnlyGuard middleware sits between nodeContextMiddleware and the
remote proxy and rejects /api/scheduled-tasks, /api/audit-log, and
/api/notification-routes with 403 + HUB_ONLY_ENDPOINT when nodeId resolves
to a remote, closing the script-bypass path the UI gating cannot reach.
Settings sub-sections were already gated via the hiddenOnRemote registry;
this extends the same model to top-level views.
* docs(nodes): note hub-only visibility on Fleet, Schedules, Audit, Logs, Auto-Update
Each of the five hub-only feature pages now points readers to the
canonical "What top-level views show when a remote node is active"
section in multi-node.mdx, so users landing directly on a feature page
understand why the nav item disappears when they switch to a remote node.
Add a Stream view to the Audit Log that leads with a four-tile signal
rail (events, actors, failure rate with inline sparkline, peak hour)
and presents the feed grouped by day with severity dots, relative
times, and inline anomaly callouts. The existing Table view is
preserved behind a toggle for power users.
Anomaly flags are computed at read time against strictly prior history
and returned on demand via ?with_anomalies=1:
- unusual_hour: hour outside the actor's central 7-day window
- new_ip: IP unseen for this actor in the last 30 days
- first_seen_actor: no prior history in the 30-day window
New /audit-log/stats endpoint returns the signal-rail aggregates over
24h/7d/30d windows; stats are derived from a single 30-day scan.
* fix(audit): harden audit log with summary fixes, design compliance, and test coverage
Replace stale /compose/* route summaries with current /stacks/* patterns,
add ~30 missing route summaries for container ops, labels, fleet updates,
SSO, templates, and auto-update. Fix X-Forwarded-For extracting full
proxy chain instead of first client IP. Pre-sort pattern table at module
load for O(1) lookup instead of sorting per request.
Add Calendar and DatePicker UI components (react-day-picker v9 + date-fns)
replacing browser-native date inputs. Align AuditLogView with design system:
Combobox instead of Select, design token colors, strokeWidth 1.5, card bevel,
tabular-nums on all numeric cells.
Add diagnostic logging gated behind developer mode for audit middleware,
query, and export endpoints. Extract getAuditSummary to testable utility.
Add 32 tests covering summary resolution, DB round-trips, API permissions,
export formats, and middleware integration.
* fix(audit): use correct Chevron prop types for react-day-picker compatibility
* docs: remove security-sensitive implementation details from public documentation
Generalize or remove internal architecture details that could aid targeted
attacks — CVE tables, database schema, rate limit thresholds, proxy internals,
encryption algorithm names, and WebSocket middleware bypass info.
* test(metrics): fix flaky minute-bucket aggregation test
Floor baseTime to the start of the current minute so baseTime + 5000
never crosses a minute boundary and produces 2 buckets instead of 1.
- Configurable retention: audit_retention_days setting (1-365 days, default 90)
replaces hardcoded 90-day retention, exposed in Settings > Data Retention
- Export: one-click CSV/JSON export of filtered audit data via new
GET /api/audit-log/export endpoint (capped at 10,000 entries)
- Auditor role: read-only role with system:audit permission for viewing
and exporting audit logs without admin privileges (Admiral tier)
- Enhanced filtering: full-text search across summaries/paths/usernames,
date range picker, and expandable row details showing request path,
IP address, node ID, and entry ID
Adds the ability to schedule recurring Docker operations (stack restarts,
fleet snapshots, system prunes) via cron expressions with full execution
history logging. Includes Run Now for on-demand execution.
* feat: audit logging, secrets at rest, and legacy cleanup
- Add Team Pro audit log: records all mutating API actions with user
attribution, searchable timeline UI with filtering and pagination
- Add AES-256-GCM encryption at rest for node API tokens via CryptoService
- Drop 9 legacy SSH/TLS columns from nodes table (dead since v0.7)
- Remove orphaned MaintenanceModal.tsx (dead code, never imported)
- Add requireTeamPro backend guard for team-tier features
- Add audit log cleanup (90-day retention) to MonitorService
- Add docs page and navigation entry for audit log feature
* fix: remove unused AUTH_TAG_LENGTH constant from CryptoService
