Anso b0b423b234 feat(fleet): reapply Compose configuration without a version update (#1716)
* feat(fleet): reapply Compose configuration without a version update

Add a distinct Fleet Reapply configuration path so Compose-managed nodes can recreate Sencho from the current on-disk project when already up to date, without pulling or rewriting the image reference.

* fix(fleet): confirm remote reapply and close concurrent tracker race

Require confirmation for remote compose reapply, and lock dispatch before the remote POST so a second request cannot overwrite a successful in-flight tracker.

* fix(ui): icon-only Reapply control so Up to date badge can breathe

Collapse the Node updates Reapply label into a tooltip so the status pill no longer wraps in the Status column.

* feat(editor): Save & Reapply self-stack via fleet compose reapply (#1726)

* feat(editor): Save & Reapply self-stack via fleet compose reapply

Eligible admins can apply on-disk Compose edits to Sencho's own stack from the editor using the same confirm, dispatch, and reconnect path as Fleet Node Updates.

* fix(editor): gate Save & Reapply label to self-stack only

Ordinary stacks were labeled Save & Reapply whenever the node was
reapply-eligible. Require the selected file to be the self-stack for the
toolbar label and diff confirm CTA.

* fix(ui): move compose diff action label helper out of dialog module

Keep ComposeDiffPreviewDialog component-only so react-refresh Fast Refresh
lint passes after the Save and reapply stacked merge.

Anso 381ed2a91f feat: add Admiral Hardened Build channel and business assurance surfaces (#1629)
* feat: add Admiral Hardened Build channel and business assurance surfaces

Introduce Studio Saelix entitlement-backed Hardened Build switching, a
single-flight image operation coordinator, Recovery Vault naming, Admiral
Account settings, and typed Fleet update failures while preserving Community
custom-repo and targetless pull-current updates.

* fix: harden image-op paths and clear CI CodeQL/pilot flake

Validate operation IDs before filesystem use, use hostname checks in Fleet
fetch mocks, sanitize registry probe logs, and swallow expected TCP teardown
errors in the pilot reverse-route post-handshake test.

* fix: sanitize image-op docker config write and probe logs

Allowlist-copy registry host keys and base64 auth before writing the
temp DOCKER_CONFIG, and log registry probe failures with a fixed message
so CodeQL no longer flags network-to-file and log-injection mediums.

* fix: address Admiral Hardened Build audit blockers

Expose imageChannel so hardened Fleet peers still POST for typed rejection, claim community updates before 202, terminalize helper failures, gate Hardened on paid, and align support/docs/e2e wording.

* fix: terminalize image ops on helper survival and aborted claims

* fix: prevent recreating persist from overwriting helper-exit failure

* test: assert helper-exit failure lands before recreating persist

* fix: keep current pointer when acknowledging a stale image operation

Anso e12602091a fix: repin semver compose tags during fleet self-update (#1587)
* fix: repin semver compose tags during fleet self-update

Fleet updates failed when docker-compose.yml pinned a semver tag because recreate reused the on-disk pin. Pull the target image first, rewrite semver pins via the update helper, and block digest or unresolved pins with fast 409s.

* fix: update OFFLINE_META shape in capability and node-registry meta tests

Anso ed06900fd4 fix: clear stale node-update changelog notes when a refetch fails (#1494)
When the advertised version changed and the follow-up release-notes request
failed (non-OK response, network rejection, or unparseable JSON), the previously
loaded notes, version label, and link were never cleared, so the changelog kept
showing the prior version's notes as if they described the new advertised update
and did not retry. The settled-version latch then suppressed an automatic
refetch.

The changelog now drops the loaded notes, version, and link the moment it
commits to fetching for a different advertised version, so any non-matching,
null, or failed result falls through to the empty state with the online
changelog link. The skeleton covers the in-flight gap, and the settled-version
latch is preserved so a failure does not loop.

Anso dd49ef65aa fix: render node-update changelog only for the advertised release version (#1493)
The changelog recorded every settled release-notes fetch as loaded for the
advertised version and rendered whatever notes came back, without checking that
the returned version matched. Because the version lookup and the release-notes
lookup use independent caches (and the version can fall back to Docker Hub while
notes are GitHub-only), a drifted response could show one version's notes under
a different advertised update.

The changelog now binds strictly: notes render only when the endpoint confirms
they belong to the advertised latest version; a mismatch falls through to the
empty state with the online changelog link. The settled-version latch is kept so
a mismatch does not loop the fetch.

Anso 4cf04056c9 fix: bind the node-update changelog to the advertised release version (#1492)
The changelog tab fetched release notes once and held them in component state
without tying them to a version, and the endpoint did not report which release
the notes belonged to. When a newer release surfaced while the sheet stayed
mounted, reopening the changelog could show the previous version's notes, and a
GitHub/Docker Hub fallback or independent cache timing could leave the notes out
of sync with the advertised latest version.

The release-notes endpoint now returns the release version (normalized
tag_name). The changelog keys its loaded notes to the advertised latest version,
refetching when that version changes, and labels the notes with the version they
belong to so the displayed content is always explicit.

Anso 6256131dc6 fix: render node-update changelog notes as formatted markdown (#1474)
The Changelog tab in the Node Updates sheet rendered GitHub release notes
as raw markdown inside a preformatted block, so headings, bullet lists,
and issue/commit links showed as literal markup and were hard to read.

Render the notes with a small react-markdown wrapper styled to the design
tokens (raw HTML is intentionally not rendered, keeping it safe). Also:

- Replace the bare loading spinner with a content-shaped skeleton.
- Add a graceful empty state when no notes are available, with a link to
  the online changelog.
- Add a "View on Sencho" link next to "View on GitHub".
- Stop the release-notes fetch from re-firing on every failure by tracking
whether a fetch has settled, so a null result lands on the empty state
instead of looping; Recheck resets it to force a fresh fetch.

Anso 315e8b6379 feat: add node update alerts with changelog tab and skip-version handling (#1463)
* feat: add node update alerts with changelog tab and skip-version handling

- Add node_update_available notification category with blue/brand bell dot
- Route node_update_available notifications to Fleet -> Node updates sheet
- Add Changelog tab to NodeUpdatesSheet with GitHub release notes
- Add per-node skip-version persistence (node_update_skips table)
- Skip hides update CTA on node card and sheet; re-surfaces on newer version
- Skipped nodes excluded from Update all backend filter
- Add pulsating dot indicator on Changelog tab when updates available
- Always-visible View changelog action in notification row bottom
- Admin-only for all mutating controls (skip, unskip, update)
- Backend tests for skip-version semantics (15 tests)
- Update fleet-view.mdx, remote-updates.mdx, and OpenAPI spec

* fix: address audit findings - nested button, stale changelog, semver normalization, mobile intent

- Move View changelog button outside routable button (sibling element)
- Fix aria-label for node_update_available notification rows
- Support ?recheck=true on release-notes endpoint
- Invalidate release notes cache on forced recheck
- Store normalized semver (semver.valid strips v prefix)
- Skip fleetUpdatesIntent on mobile (desktop only)
- Add v-prefix normalization test

* fix: restore View changelog on same line as timestamp, opposite sides

The button is always visible at the bottom right of the notification card,
on the same row as the timestamp (just now), using justify-between layout.

* fix: update tests for node_update_available category and release-notes fetch

- Backend: monitor-service tests now expect node_update_available instead of system
- Frontend: NodeUpdatesSheet tests mock release-notes API call to prevent undefined then()

* fix: resolve ci lint failures

Anso 0953025036 fix(fleet): gate node update actions to admins and harden update tracking (#1272)
* fix(fleet): gate node update actions to admins and harden update tracking

Node update affordances now render only for admins, matching the admin-only
routes behind them. Previously a non-admin could open the Fleet view and see the
per-node Update button, Update all, retry, dismiss, and Recheck controls, then
get a 403 on click. Those controls are now hidden for non-admins, who still see
read-only update status.

Both update-status clear routes (per-node and bulk) now require admin, and the
bulk recheck throttles its forced "latest published version" lookup so a caller
cannot loop it to hammer the upstream registries; the response reports whether
the refresh actually ran so the UI can surface a "checked recently" note.

Completion detection no longer reports a node as Updated when it merely blips
offline and returns on the same version with an unchanged process start time.
That case stays in progress and is decided by the existing early-fail and
timeout heuristics, so a momentary network glitch is not mistaken for a
successful update. Failed and timed-out updates now emit an operator-visible
warning, and a periodic safety-net sweep bounds in-flight trackers when no
client is polling for status.

* fix(fleet): harden update completion and recheck failure handling

Refinements from review of the node self-update hardening:

- Completion signal 1 now requires a valid version, not merely a different one.
A node whose /api/meta momentarily omits or mangles its version (online, same
process) reported version=null, which compared unequal to the previous version
and falsely marked the update completed. It now stays in progress and is
  decided by the early-fail/timeout heuristics.

- Terminal resolution is atomic: it re-reads the live tracker and transitions
only if it is still in flight with the same start time, so two concurrent
status polls cannot both warn or clobber each other's transition.

- The operator warning for a failed or timed-out update now redacts
secret-shaped text (bearer/basic/token/password, credentialed URLs) from the
underlying error before logging, in addition to stripping control characters.

- The Recheck button now surfaces an error toast when the request throws
(network or auth failure), matching the existing non-ok-response path instead
of only logging to the console.

Anso 60f893a81f feat(fleet): move bulk Remote OTA updates to Community tier (#1151)
Drops `requirePaid` from `POST /api/fleet/update-all` so Community admins
can dispatch bulk node updates. Per-node OTA was already Community-
reachable (admin-only); this completes the move so the full Remote OTA
surface ships at Community.

Frontend mirrors the backend: removes `canBulkUpdate` from
NodeUpdatesSheet so the "Update all (N)" affordance is purely data-
driven on `updatableRemoteCount > 0`.

Docs realigned to drop fence-spec and Skipper-only phrasing on the
Update all bulk action:
- features/licensing.mdx: Community line now lists Remote OTA (per-node
and Update all); Skipper Fleet Actions parenthetical drops "bulk
  update all"
- features/remote-updates.mdx: Note rewritten to role-only requirement
- features/fleet-view.mdx: Update all (n) bullet drops the tier clause
- features/overview.mdx: Fleet View and Remote updates blurbs drop the
  Skipper/Admiral fences
- operations/upgrade.mdx: Note rephrased without naming tiers

Test coverage:
- fleet.test.ts: tier-gating spec flipped to assert Community access
- fleet-pilot-update.test.ts: bulk-OTA dispatch suite now spies tier
to Community so it doubles as a regression guard

Anso 3ec0a45ff0 feat(frontend): SystemSheet §9.11 — security and scheduled sheets (PR 2/3) (#961)
* feat(frontend): add SystemSheet primitive and migrate mesh sheets to §9.11 chrome

DESIGN.md §9.11 codifies one canonical right-side detail-sheet shell (cyan
rail, mono crumb, italic serif name, mono meta, ESC chip + close glyph,
fixed three-slot toolbar, cyan-underline tabs, ScrollArea body, footer
freshness band). Today the 16 sheet consumers each render their own
header chrome with stock shadcn SheetHeader/SheetTitle.

Introduce <SystemSheet> + <SheetSection> in
frontend/src/components/ui/system-sheet.tsx, composing the existing
<Sheet>/<SheetContent> primitive. Add a backward-compatible showClose
prop to SheetContent so SystemSheet can render its own ESC chip + close
glyph instead of the stock cyan square close.

Migrate the four mesh sheets as the first batch:
* MeshActivitySheet: crumb Fleet › Mesh › Activity, footer freshness from
  most-recent event timestamp.
* MeshOptInSheet: crumb Fleet › Mesh › {nodeName}, meta of opted-in
count, drops the redundant bottom Close button (ESC chip dismisses).
* MeshDiagnosticsSheet: removes the icon-prefixed title (forbidden by
§9.11), lifts Refresh/Restart buttons from the body into the toolbar
band, three SheetSection blocks for sidecar status, streams, cache.
* MeshRouteDetailSheet: adds Overview/Events/Raw tabs, lifts Test probe
into the toolbar primary slot, footer surfaces last probe latency.

* feat(frontend): migrate security and scheduled sheets to §9.11 chrome

PR 2 of the System Sheet (§9.11) rollout, stacked on the SystemSheet
primitive PR. Migrates six more sheet consumers and merges the Stack
alert + auto-heal sheets into a single tabbed sheet per audit §17.

Sheets migrated:
* NodeUpdatesSheet: crumb Fleet > Updates, Recheck primary, Update-all
secondary when applicable. Stat tiles and node rows lose their
card-in-sheet wrapping (forbidden by §9.11) for flat dividers.
* StackAlertSheet (now the merged stack monitor): tabs Alerts /
Auto-heal, crumb Stack > {name} > Monitor. New initialTab prop lets
callers open directly to either tab. Auto-heal tab is hidden entirely
for Community-tier users (matches the existing tier-gating on the
context menu trigger and keyboard shortcut).
* StackAutoHealSheet.tsx: deleted. Its body became the Auto-heal tab
  inside the merged sheet.
* VulnerabilityScanSheet: removed the icon-prefixed title (forbidden by
§9.11). Re-scan, Compare, CSV, SARIF lifted from body cards into the
toolbar band. Tabs Vulnerabilities | Secrets | Misconfigs (counts on
the tab labels). SBOM dropdown stays in the body summary section
pending a primitive enhancement for dropdown-attached toolbar actions.
* ScanComparisonSheet: crumb Security > Scans > Compare, name Diff,
  meta with the +added/-removed delta.
* SecurityHistoryView: the inner sheet only. Crumb Security > Scan
history. Compare (paid + 2 selected) and Refresh in toolbar.
* ScheduledOperationsView run-history sheet (lines ~847-935 only):
crumb Schedules > {taskName} > Runs, Download CSV in toolbar, footer
  surfaces next-run timestamp.

Hook refactor:
* useOverlayState replaces three separate state vars (alertSheetOpen,
alertSheetStack, autoHealStackName) with one stackMonitor object
carrying { stackName, tab }. New helpers openAlertSheet(stackName),
  openAutoHeal(stackName), closeStackMonitor(). Tests rewritten and
  pass (11/11).
* useSidebarContextMenu and ShellOverlays updated for the new API. The
three other call sites (useStackMenuItems, useStackKeyboardShortcuts)
already use openAlertSheet/openAutoHeal and need no change.

Anso ecf4dd5d52 feat: open security basics, manual fleet ops, and basic fleet management to Community (#930)
Realign tier guards to the user-stated philosophy: Community covers
deploy/monitor at scale plus security basics, Skipper adds automation
and advanced fleet management, Admiral keeps enterprise control.

Community now includes:
- Trivy install / uninstall / update from the Settings Hub (admin role)
- CVE suppressions CRUD (admin role; replicates fleet-wide)
- Manual image scan with vuln, secret, and misconfig results
- Stack-config scan, scan comparison
- Manual fleet snapshots: create, list, view, restore, delete
- Per-node Sencho self-update (Check Updates + per-node Update)
- Fleet Overview search, sort, filters, node-card expand, auto-refresh

Stays paid:
- Scan policies with block_on_deploy enforcement (Skipper+)
- SBOM (SPDX, CycloneDX), SARIF export (Skipper+)
- Bulk Update All across the fleet (Skipper+)
- Scheduled snapshot create (now Skipper, was Admiral)
- Trivy auto-update toggle, fleet-wide policy push (Admiral)

The Settings -> Security tab is unhidden by setting the registry tier to
null. The SecuritySection no longer early-returns a PaidGate; the policy
list, Add Policy button, and policy dialogs are wrapped in {isPaid && }.
The Fleet view drops isPaid gates on the Snapshots tab, Check Updates
button, per-node update handlers, OverviewToolbar grid controls, the
NodeCard expand affordance, and the auto-refresh notice. The
NodeUpdatesSheet receives a canBulkUpdate prop and gates the Update All
button on it. useFleetUpdateStatus and useFleetPolling drop their isPaid
guards so polling runs for Community; useFleetOverview drops the isPaid
wrap on the filter and sort path.

Backend route guards are flipped per the matrix above. The scheduler
tick and requireScheduledTaskTier add 'snapshot' to the Skipper+ branch.
Backend test assertions are inverted for the now-Community endpoints
and a positive Skipper-snapshot-task test is added.

Documentation across features/, api-reference/, and operations/ is
updated to reflect the new tier mapping.

Anso 8277bda0fa refactor(frontend): convert Node Updates dialog from modal to sheet (#917)
Swaps Dialog for Sheet in NodeUpdatesSheet (renamed from
NodeUpdatesModal). Sheet provides full viewport height, removing the
max-h-[85vh] cap on the container and the max-h-[40vh] cap on the node
list scroll area. Width fixed at 700px.

Also fixes two stat-counter bugs carried over from the original inline
code: completed nodes now count toward the Up to date tile, and the
gateway latest-version label now resolves via the local node entry
rather than relying on array position.

No prop or behavior changes.
