Zhengchao An ffe889ad59 fix(storage): restore multipart disk compression and make the legacy decompressor resumable (#6044)
* fix(storage): restore multipart disk compression and make the legacy decompressor resumable

Multipart uploads have bypassed disk compression since #5169 removed the session marker as a stopgap for mid-stream GET failures. The actual root cause was never the multipart layout: the legacy DecompressReader reset its payload consumption state on every poll re-entry, so a Poll::Pending in the middle of a block payload (routine under the erasure duplex) desynchronized the block framing and surfaced as LZ4 frameType errors. This rewrites the decoder as a resumable state machine, restores the multipart session compression marker, reports logical part sizes in ListParts, and makes the rebalance migration read raw stored bytes so compressed and encrypted objects survive migration verbatim.

Fixes #5957. Internal tracking: backlog#1848, backlog#1850.

* feat(storage): stage multipart compression behind RUSTFS_COMPRESSION_MULTIPART_ENABLED

Review follow-up: a rolling-upgrade window must not create new compressed multipart objects while pre-fix nodes (whose decompressor is not resumable) may still serve reads. The session marker is now additionally gated on RUSTFS_COMPRESSION_MULTIPART_ENABLED, default off, so the restored capability stays dark until the operator confirms fleet convergence. The default flips per the multipart-compression-default-off-window entry in docs/architecture/compat-cleanup-register.md once the minimum supported direct-upgrade release ships the resumable decoder.

* chore(compat): satisfy the cleanup-register guard for the multipart compression switch

The architecture guard requires every backticked identifier in a register entry to carry a RUSTFS_COMPAT_TODO source marker: keep only the entry slug in backticks, and add the marker (with its literal Remove-after condition) at the switch definition.

* chore(rio): drop a dead store in the poison guard and note the end-block branch

Review follow-up: the poison gate re-assigned an already-true flag, and the COMPRESS_TYPE_END branch reads as dead without stating that the writer never emits an end block — that absence is exactly what lets concatenated per-part streams decode as one.

* fix(s3): report empty compressed multipart part size

* fix(s3): report empty encrypted multipart part size

Zhengchao An 4042bc0a5e fix(quota): admit writes against a persisted usage baseline while authoritative usage is unavailable (#5722)
Upgrading from a pre-v2 release leaves only the legacy .usage.json snapshot, which has no completeness marker and is demoted to non-authoritative, so every write to a quota-enabled bucket failed closed with a retryable 503 until the scanner's first complete cycle persisted .usage.v2.json — a production outage on large namespaces (issue #5716).

Quota admission now degrades to the last persisted per-bucket size: normalize_loaded_data_usage returns the pre-discard bucket sizes, the TTL-bounded snapshot cache retains them (carried forward through failed refreshes), and QuotaChecker::get_real_time_usage falls back to that baseline when the authoritative caches miss. The baseline is static between snapshot loads, so hard-quota enforcement is advisory for the duration of the degraded window — strictly tighter than beta.11 (usage treated as 0) and strictly more available than a blanket 503. Buckets absent from every persisted snapshot still fail closed, and removing a bucket's usage from the backend purges the baseline so a recreated bucket cannot inherit the dead incarnation's size.

Zhengchao An 61d4e04d65 feat(rpc): bind canonical body digest into internode mutating disk RPC signatures (#5234)
* feat(rpc): bind canonical body digest into internode mutating disk RPC signatures

Binds a domain-separated, length-prefixed canonical request-body digest into the
v2 HMAC signature scope for every mutating NodeService disk RPC, so an on-path
attacker on the default-plaintext internode channel can no longer tamper with a
mutation payload (or strip the msgpack `_bin` field to force the JSON fallback
decode) without invalidating the signature.

Covers 13 mutating disk RPCs: RenameData, DeleteVersion, DeleteVersions,
WriteMetadata, UpdateMetadata, WriteAll, Delete, DeletePaths, RenameFile,
RenamePart, DeleteVolume, MakeVolume, MakeVolumes. The digest covers both the
msgpack `_bin` payloads and their JSON compatibility copies. Gated fail-open by
default (RUSTFS_INTERNODE_RPC_BODY_DIGEST_STRICT) with a convergence counter, so
rolling upgrades are byte-for-byte unaffected; the replay-cache capacity is now
configurable and overflow fails closed with a metric.

* fix(rpc): satisfy architecture-migration compat-marker guard

Put the removal condition on the RUSTFS_COMPAT_TODO marker line itself, and
stop backticking env-var/metric names in the cleanup-register entry so the
guard's id extractor only sees the task-id.

Zhengchao An 8e214104f3 perf(ecstore): add guarded encrypted multipart range seeks (#5145)
* perf(ecstore): seek encrypted multipart Range GETs to the covering part boundary on the Legacy rio v1 backend

Phase A of https://github.com/rustfs/backlog/issues/1316. Encrypted Range GETs on the default (non rio-v2) backend previously planned storage_offset=0, storage_length=oi.size and discarded the decrypted prefix, so a small Range on a large SSE object read, erasure-decoded, and decrypted the whole object. Eligible multipart objects now seek to the covering part boundary using only the per-part size/actual_size metadata facts; the multipart decrypt reader already handles streams starting at any part boundary, so rio and the on-disk format are untouched. Single-part objects, compressed payloads, defective parts tables, and zero-length ranges keep the previous full read, and RUSTFS_ENCRYPTED_RANGE_SEEK=false restores it globally. A new histogram rustfs_get_encrypted_range_read_amplification plus a full|part_seek path counter record the physical/plaintext amplification at the ReadPlan decision point.

* fix(ecstore): guard encrypted multipart range seeks

* fix(io-metrics): align encrypted range metric names with the rustfs_io_ prefix

Every other metric in rustfs-io-metrics uses the rustfs_io_ prefix; the
two encrypted-range-seek metrics were the only exception. Rename before
first release so dashboards never see the unprefixed names.
