Jamie Tanna 3644ac89d0 feat(config)!: deprecate binarySource=docker (#40754) 
As noted in #40747, we have now explicitly deprecated
`binarySource=docker`.

This has been not recommended since 2023-07, and now we're noting that
it shouldn't be used any more.

We can make sure to mark any Docker-related self-hosted configuration as
deprecated, and add a custom deprecation warning (and URL for feedback)
to usages of `binarySource=docker`, so config validation flags these
deprecated usages.

Jamie Tanna a6301877c6 fix(config)!: make useCloudMetadataServices environment-only (#40638) 
As noted in #38604, future changes to `useCloudMetadataServices` will
need to refer to this configuration before we've fully initialised
Renovate.

To simplify this, we can nudge users to only specify it through the
environment.

Jamie Tanna b6ef3e1290 fix(self-hosted)!: don't allow any unsafe commands by default (#40684) 
As a safety measure for self-hosted administrators, we can make sure
that we set `allowedUnsafeExecutions` to not allow any commands by
default.

This closes off a significant risk of executing Gradle Wrapper
commands, which use the repository's copy of the wrapper, and any
Gradle buildscript, when executing, which can lead to significant remote
code execution, even before you take into account malicious dependencies.

As this is now off-by-default, we can enable it by default in our tests
to make sure that there are minimal changes required.

Jamie Tanna cb49754391 fix(self-hosted)!: don't use shell: true for postUpgradeTasks (#40230) 
To make sure that we're using secure defaults, we can make sure that
this is off-by-default.

Self-hosted administrators will be able to turn this back in if they
wish.

Jamie Tanna 13869dd7d1 fix(config): ensure that config options are immutable (#40682) 
Noticed while making changes in the JSON Schema generation, but we're
currently returning a mutable reference to all of our options, which
means that it might be possible to (accidentally) change configuration
options that then affects all of the running Renovate process.

To handle this, we can make sure to `Object.freeze` the options, as well
as making sure our types clarify this is read-only.

This isn't something that should be user-facing, but makes sure that
we're keeping these immutable.

We also need to make sure any modifications now return a new config
option.

When we return a default value, we need to return a clone, so it's not
the frozen default value, as that then means it can't be modified (i.e.
in tests).

Jamie Tanna cbe1d049c6 feat(self-hosted): allow choice of shell: true for postUpgradeTasks (#40229) 
As part of hardening the configuration around executing
`postUpgradeTasks` with `shell: true`, we can give self-hosted
administrators the opportunity to configure this.

This continues to be on-by-default to be non-breaking, but in the next
major version can be flipped to the safer option.

Jamie Tanna f50470985c feat: add allowedUnsafeExecutions for ./gradlew (#39945) 
We recently introduced the ability for self-hosted administrators to
control execution of possibly unsafe commands with
`allowedUnsafeExecutions`.

An existing attack vector of Gradle Wrapper commands being executed
(i.e. for Verification Metadata or lockfile updates) needs to be
retrofit into `allowedUnsafeExecutions` as part of #39657.

This will be kept on-by-default until the next breaking change, after
which self-hosted administrators will be able to opt-in to enabling this
functionality is required.

Mike Glazer 8557157edb feat: add support for go:generate directives in gomod (#39163) 
* feat: add support for go:generate directives in gomod

This change adds a `goGenerate` postUpdateOption which enables
running `go generate ./...` after a dependency update.

Frequently when dependencies are brought in via tools or using
vendored code, and those dependencies are used for go:generate
instructions, we want to update the generated code after the dependency
has been updated.

Adding this as a postUpdateCommand wasn't really satisfactory since that
necessarily requires making a change in two spots (one in the allowed
commands, one in the postUpdateCommand). The other reason this was
undesirable was it would cause generate to run after every dependency
update, regardless of language.
