The unit test only showed that a width write happened, so a doubled nudge or a missing forced layout read would still pass. It now spies on offsetWidth and requires exactly one forced read of the detail cell, at width 0px with the new colspan, when the requested span and the summary cells grow in the same update, and none when they shrink. The browser spec read every `thead th` under the table, which would also match headers of tables inside the drawer. It now reads only the outer table's own header row, and uses the frontend Prettier settings (single quotes, 100 columns) instead of Prettier's defaults.
