Add exact published upstream 1b6a9b45d7 without rewriting reviewed history. Retain its collected-temperature protection for AI, Patrol, reports and metric recording. Resolve the chart overlap without restoring fabricated live two-point history: no samples means no series, and a single observed sample retains its original timestamp and value. Extend the upstream regression to cover both retained and live sparse histories.
