rcourtman 75e4ed44a6 Keep row, drawer and replication ages moving on the shared clock
The shared relative-time clock from the alert Started change reached
only PlatformTableRelativeTimeValue cells and the platform alert tables.
Other ages were still computed once at render, so they froze while a row
or an open drawer stayed mounted and its timestamp did not change:
Kubernetes Job and CronJob Detail ages and the drawer's controller
section, the drawer's container Created, Started and Finished rows and
its Last seen, the Machines identity subtitle and stale-agent tooltip,
Proxmox backup ages and their current, aging or stale band, and the
Proxmox replication compact ages, expanded Last sync and Next sync
countdown. The frozen cases are the ones that matter: a silent agent
read "seen just now" for hours, and a stalled replication scheduler's
"in 3m" never turned overdue.

Each owning component now reads useRelativeTimeNow and passes it as
`now`. The backup band measures from the later of the clock and the wall
clock, because the clock can trail by one tick and a backup that
finished inside it must not band as a future, unknown age.

Replication jobs were read once per page mount, so a moving Last sync
would have aged a job that keeps syncing and counted it overdue. The
Proxmox surface now reads them through createNonSuspendingQuery with a
30-second background poll. A failed read keeps the last jobs and the
tab, and a direct replication link holds until the first read resolves.

Pulse documentation

Start here for installation, platform setup, security, operations, and Pulse Intelligence. Commands, configuration keys, image names, API fields, and product identifiers remain untranslated in localized guides.

Start here

  • Install Pulse — signed Proxmox/Linux installation, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and first-run setup.
  • Production deployment and security — least-privilege Proxmox setup, root-agent boundaries, discovery, supply-chain verification, plan limits, scale evidence, and a rollout checklist.
  • Upgrade from Pulse v5 — migration prerequisites, rollback, agent continuity, and post-upgrade checks.
  • Releases and update channels: choosing Stable or Preview, beta and RC expectations, and how releases are tested and promoted.
  • Configure Pulse — authentication, notifications, discovery, retention, and system settings.
  • Deployment models — data locations, lifecycle, and differences between supported deployment paths.
  • Troubleshooting and FAQ — common failures, diagnostics, and operator questions.

Platforms and agents

VMware vSphere support is early access. Current builds expose dedicated vSphere inventory and recovery context, but operators should validate the integration against their own vCenter before production use.

Monitoring and operations

Pulse Intelligence

Patrol watch-only analysis is available on Community with a local model or the operator's own provider. Investigation and governed fixes require the relevant Pulse Pro capabilities.

Security, privacy, and access

Plans and managed access

Pulse Cloud is not generally available. Ordinary self-hosted Pulse remains the primary installation path; MSP and Enterprise access are explicit commercial paths rather than defaults in self-hosted setup.

Development and reference

Detailed design notes and dated migration specifications may remain in this directory for maintainers, but they are not operator setup guides unless they are linked from the sections above.
