Additively incorporate upstream 843daf7ae3 without removing accepted source. Resolve the overlapping AI documentation assertion by preserving its whitespace-normalized compatibility check together with upstream dead-Patrol guidance. The focused documentation policy tests pass; browser and final-source validation dependencies remain explicit.
