pulse-triage[bot] b0910f26b2 Avoid parsing unavailable telemetry signals per heartbeat
Intersect supplied signal keys with the existing field maps and skip explicit nulls before coercion. Preserve analyses, histories, cohort counts, timestamp parsing and the unchanged eight-second production-scale guard; add deterministic sparse/full-null cost and all-field coercion controls.

Contract-Neutral: In-memory reporting optimisation only; no telemetry schema, report semantics, collection, privacy, runtime or subsystem contract changes.

pulse-triage[bot] f4ca9855df Keep update-failure help read-only before recovery
Route server update errors through bounded log readers, distinguish updater status from the running service, and require a matched stopped-service recovery rather than a guessed restore. Keep the existing Docker help on the same bounded reader.

Contract-Neutral: Documentation and help regression checks only; no runtime, API, configuration or subsystem contract change.

pulse-triage[bot] 0fbc00609f Bound severity-filtered incident logs without reinstalling Pulse
Keep warning-priority evidence within the existing incident reader's deadline, record limit and failure handling. Explain info-priority legacy units without requesting a full secret-bearing unit or an incident-time installer rerun.

Contract-Neutral: Documentation and copied-reader regression tests only; no runtime, API, setting, permission or lifecycle contract changes.

pulse-triage[bot] f331ab4fe1 Route general incident help through bounded log readers
The general help checklist bypassed the deadline and failure-handling recipes already on the same page. Link that existing path without requiring a request ID or repeated action, and exercise its actual copied readers.

Contract-Neutral: Documentation and regression checks only; no runtime, API, setting, or service-lifecycle change.

pulse-triage[bot] 7fc08999ea Keep backup safety CI aligned with shutdown result readback
The newly exercised docs-only route exposed an old six-command allowlist that rejected the reviewed shutdown Result and executable exit fields. Match that existing read-only guidance and reject dropping those fields, while retaining the distinction between service shutdown and completed guest requests. No native stop or probe is executed.

Contract-Neutral: Correct the safety-guide test expectation for already-reviewed readback; no runtime, documentation or backup policy changes.

pulse-triage[bot] 51a30f71d3 Exercise backup safety and diagnostic recipes on docs-only changes
Build and Test deliberately skips the smoke suite for Markdown-only changes, leaving Public docs able to accept unsafe but correctly mirrored guidance. Run the existing backup, passive diagnostic and copied-reader suites in the lightweight docs check, and retain strict failure propagation and source triggers without installing application dependencies.

Contract-Neutral: Wire existing safety recipe checks into docs-only CI without changing product, workflow trust or documentation contracts.

pulse-triage[bot] 5b15a6f946 Keep bounded process readers at the collector's privilege
Read counters directly under an already authorised account instead of elevating a child reader inside an unprivileged timeout. A denied read remains unavailable; no sudoers, service permissions or credential change is suggested. Preserve the original sudo recipe only as synthetic parent-control evidence.

Contract-Neutral: Existing passive diagnostic instructions and their synthetic controls only; no runtime, API, permission or frontend behaviour changes.

pulse-triage[bot] 21cd03540d Stop performance reader descendants at the collection deadline
The exact-source TERM-ignoring control returned 124, not the intended kill result. Use GNU timeout's whole-group KILL deadline for these read-only collectors and verify that the owned synthetic reader is no longer running. Retain the adverse initial proof rather than relaxing its assertion.

Contract-Neutral: Diagnostic recipes and their synthetic deadline controls only; no runtime, API, permissions or frontend behaviour delta.

pulse-triage[bot] b621549e69 Make performance sample pairs bounded and identity-safe
Withhold incomplete write/container counter pairs, reject reader and identity failures, and pin Docker stats to the full running container ID. Preserve the 60-second passive window and data-safety guidance without changing monitoring or permissions.

pulse-triage[bot] e95e53cf9e Withhold incomplete diagnostic logs and bound copied readers
Capture both local log streams before presenting notification excerpts or request-ID matches. A reader error or deadline reports unavailability without a partial excerpt; missing GNU timeout has no unbounded fallback. Exercise copied recipes with successful, empty, partial-failure, missing-tool and hung readers, including termination grace.

pulse-triage[bot] f8a52fcaf5 Bound passive resident-memory sampling without inventing readings
Keep the sampled counters and process identity behind a read-only deadline. Hanging readers and a missing timeout utility produce an unavailable result, while privacy, PID-reuse and measured-zero controls remain. Preserve the ten-second test assertion and clean up the test-owned shell on timeout.

pulse-triage[bot] a8271238e1 Check frontend build budgets before the full unit suite
PR2624 spent 8m45s on successful unit tests before its deterministic bundle-size rejection; PR2626 and PR2627 now fail at that same gate. Type-check, build the real embedded assets and apply the unchanged size budgets before spending that test time. Passing source still runs every existing check.

pulse-triage[bot] c6294f5654 Correct pre-push receipt fixtures to compare admitted content

rcourtman b027bb0e8e Keep paired PR benchmarks inside their time budget
Since 15:00 UTC on 5 October every paired benchmark run that was not
superseded has hit its 25-minute step timeout. Each step runs ten base
and ten candidate samples, so per-sample growth is multiplied by twenty.

BenchmarkRegistryProjectionSnapshot (#2518) rebuilt a registry behind
StopTimer on every cold iteration. Go sizes b.N from timed work only, so
the empty-registry cases ran hundreds of thousands of untimed ingests
and took 16 s of a 100 ms benchtime. With #2486's new owner-index and
metadata benchmarks, internal/unifiedresources went from 8 s to 38 s per
sample. Cold now invalidates the registry's derived state instead. The
refresh never reads its own output, so this repeats a fresh ingest's
first read with the same allocations, and the family drops from 22 s to
about 5 s per sample.

Paired runs also measured every package even when both trees compiled
identical code, as on frontend-only changes. They now sample only
packages whose in-module dependency closure the change reaches. Module
files, dirty or non-Git trees and an unreadable graph still select
everything.

A module or shared-model change still samples nearly every package,
about 24 minutes with warm-up. The step therefore gets a measured 30
minutes, and the script stops at a 28-minute projected budget with
per-package costs instead of meeting a bare timeout.
