rcourtman 02ee3a2b1d fix(settings): test edited TLS with saved credentials
Send draft verification and fingerprint settings to the saved-credential
probe so Test connection reflects the edit form before saving. Preserve
saved defaults for callers without overrides and keep probe state temporary.

Keep shared footer actions visible on narrow screens so the edit and test
flow remains usable through pending, error and confirmation states.

rcourtman 0e5b335b23 Restore collected backup and storage evidence in investigations (#2973)
Guest investigations could miss collected backup failures, and canonical
storage IDs could not retrieve metric history. Investigations now read
backup attempts through the same org-scoped recovery source as the HTTP
API and storage history through the monitor-owned source used by charts.
Responses preserve error text, timestamps, requested windows, read
failures and synthetic provenance. Dense history sampling also includes
the newest remainder observations, which the previous capped fixed-size
buckets discarded.

Regression coverage checks guest tool projection, persisted backup
attempts, resource and tenant isolation, demo-mode transitions, retained
storage history after restart, measured zero, newest observations in
dense series and API/tool coherence. Focused backend tests and both
private runtime builds passed on the validation worker. Frontend
type-check and build passed.

The separate backup inventory overview still uses legacy identifiers.
That remaining canonicalization work is recorded in the existing L6
architecture follow-up.

Browser verification exercised saved investigation summaries and
expanded tool evidence on `/patrol` at 1440×900 and 390×844, including
keyboard open/close, reopen and reload. This was a read-only view of
synthetic investigation records, not action or release qualification.

rcourtman 223c2d2449 fix(patrol): restore collected investigation evidence
Guest investigations could miss collected backup errors and could not read
storage history through canonical resource IDs. Share recovery point reads
with the HTTP API and monitoring history with charts, preserving tenant and
resource scope, timestamps, provenance, window bounds, and read failures.

Cover manifest projection, persisted recovery tasks, demo source parity,
retained storage history after restart, and API/tool evidence coherence.

rcourtman 90f819b309 Show Alert History as cards when its card is too narrow
Alerts > History chose between its table and its phone cards by the
viewport: the table from 768px. With the Alerts rail open, a 1024px to
roughly 1240px window gives the table a 600px to 800px card, where its
own CSS stacks the three row actions and resource names and messages
break mid-word ("inventory-/api") or end after two lines.

The table section now measures its card with useObservedElementWidth and
shows the cards whenever the card is narrower than 800px, the width from
which the row actions share one line; before the card is measured, the
phone breakpoint decides as before. The cards take that decision as an
`active` signal instead of their own 768px media query, so an open
timeline or resource view still moves into the cards' drawer when they
take over and back to the inline expansion when the table returns. The
decision is a memo so a resize within one layout does not re-run that
move and reopen a drawer the operator closed.

rcourtman e63da80b65 Colour Alert History frequency bars by severity
The frequency chart drew every period in one blue under a legend of
coloured severity dots that described nothing in the bars, left info
alerts out of that legend, and used a floored log scale on which a
25-alert burst looked barely three times one alert.

Each period now stacks critical, warning and info in the legend's own
colours, counted with the alerts contract's closed severity vocabulary,
and bars scale by the square root of their share of the busiest period so
a burst stands clear while quiet periods keep a readable mix. The legend
counts all three severities, and the tooltip and accessible name carry
each period's breakdown. Light-theme warnings use amber-700 because
yellow on the chart surface was under 2:1, and a selected period is
ringed instead of dimming the rest below 3:1.

The chart's two test files are registered as alerts frontend proofs.

rcourtman 421a784783 Use explicit governance qualification and evidence (#2891)
Governance now reports explicit completion, residuals, evidence and
ownership availability. It no longer computes lane grades, completion
percentages or weighted candidate priority. Release qualification,
security assertions and lease boundaries stay enforced.

The frontend contract also drops obsolete Discovery surface catalogs and
preserves the live Assistant handoff and execution contracts.

Validation: 93 focused Python tests, repository-control Go tests, and
control-plane, status, registry and contract audits. Full delivery hooks
passed, including 164 helper tests and frontend audits after integration
with current main.

rcourtman 0bd6e8b9d8 Point release pages at GitHub's comparison with a Source comparison section
The first beta's page listed no changes, and the full changelog file is
neither attached to nor linked from any release page, so a reader could
not look up a change the summary did not name. Add a pointer, advisory
and additive.

The renderer appends a "## Source comparison" section after Roll back: a
link to GitHub's comparison of the release tag with the stable rollback
target the workflow already passes (--rollback-target and --candidate-tag).
It is a pointer, not a list. GitHub shows at most 250 commits in a
comparison and this beta had 328 changes, so the section says larger
comparisons may omit commits and is not called a full list.

It never fails a release on its own. The helper renders nothing, and
raises nothing, for a missing or malformed tag, a base that is not a
lower stable release, a trailing newline, non-ASCII digits, or numbers
too large to convert. Bodies without the section, including every
earlier release and any frozen in-flight one, keep validating, because
the validator already permits a trailing section and is unchanged. The
post-update changelog dialog reads only recognised category headings, so
a separate heading after Roll back is ignored by it.

Every consumer of the rendered body was audited (the renderer's
validators, create-release, validate-release-assets,
recover-release-activation, the updater backend, the what's-new model and
the Go and TypeScript tests): no regression. Review of the first draft
found a crash on a 5000-digit tag, a newline that would land inside the
URL, and overclaiming contract text; all fixed and pinned by tests that
fail against the first draft. A tags/ prefix would avoid a branch that
shares a tag's name, but GitHub's web comparison URL returned 404 for it
on existing tags, so bare refs are used and the limit is recorded.

Tests run the real renderer on the v6.5.0 notes: placement after Roll
back, exact spacing, numeric ordering, ten edit and annotation cycles
with CRLF and the extra jq newline, expected-body rejection of a changed
or deleted section, and absence still validating. They fail against the
original renderer. Making the section required, and a generated
row-level inventory that proves completeness, need a declarative contract
record in the preparation snapshot and are deliberately deferred; the
contract explains why.

Contract-Neutral: Adds an advisory link to rendered release pages; no published artifact, tag, signing, install or customer contract changes.

rcourtman 668c5135c7 Keep workload identity stable across node moves (#2882)
A Proxmox node move changed the workload row key, reset an open drawer’s
History view and could publish new coordinates before saved guest
metadata migrated. Rows now use the stable unified resource ID,
bookmarks resolve through the registry, and the selected resource owns
its drawer tab and History range across regrouping.

Accepted publication migrates metadata before exposing the new node. A
failed write retains operator fields in memory and the last successful
disk snapshot, with recovery through the existing writer. Native
metadata and History coordinates remain separate from row identity.
Backend metrics targets take precedence over the legacy native fallback.

Route focus owns initial positioning. Viewport initialization measures
the selected row without replacing its reveal window. Local row clicks
retain their scroll position, while later scroll and resize events
follow the viewport. Operator policy, Assistant, all four Patrol modes
and paid entitlements are preserved.

The proof registry owns the focused publication and writer tests. Its
guard verifies acceptance and rejection without duplicating the catalog.
Canonical and browser guards share exact Git inheritance reads, so
updating a branch retains parent qualification for unchanged content.
New resolutions and mode changes still need current proof, and range
checks qualify the complete proposed change.

Validation:

- Regression controls reproduce publication ordering and persistence
failures. Targeted backend and race tests pass.
- Final repair checks pass: 476 tests across 15 frontend files,
type-check, production frontend build and embedded build.
- Current-source browser checks on /proxmox/overview at 1280x800,
900x800 and 390x844 cover VM and LXC, canonical and legacy links, node
regrouping, native and explicit History targets, saved links, reload,
keyboard selection, Collapse, Escape and search reselection.
- Additional desktop and phone checks cover operator policy persistence,
metadata write failure, delayed lookup cancellation and refused
references. The final browser matrix passes 196 checks.
- Merge-qualification regression reproduces inherited additions, renames
and deletions being misclassified. All 216 focused guard tests pass,
including retained mode changes, new resolutions and ordinary commits.

Browser node movement uses controlled resource updates. Publication and
metadata ordering are verified independently with filesystem barriers
and failure injection.

rcourtman 159db4ba3c Set up Patrol on the Patrol page
18 of 60 paid installs on the current telemetry schema have no AI
provider. Getting Patrol running meant three pages: turn on Pulse
Intelligence, pick one of 14 providers and paste a key, choose a model
from a raw list, then find Check Patrol model on another page.

When Patrol is blocked because no provider is connected, Pulse
Intelligence is off, or the provider refused the saved key, the setup
card now connects a provider in place. It covers a cloud API key
(Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter) or Ollama, names the
model Pulse will use from the Patrol guidance table, prices it before
anything is saved, then saves it, runs the provider test and the Patrol
model check, and offers the first run. A per-token model on the
untouched 6-hour schedule gets the same slower schedule Patrol settings
would propose. Everything else stays on Provider & Models.

The panel stays mounted once started, because polling flips the
readiness cause mid-setup and would otherwise remove the verdict. A
refused key (provider_auth) now routes to Provider & Models instead of
the model check, which could not fix it.

coordinates remain explicit compatibility inputs. Operator policy and paid

rcourtman 8cff7de026 Restore Patrol's Safe auto-fix and Autopilot modes
Reverts #2863 before any release ships it. The live Pro pricing and
Patrol pages, in English, German and Spanish, sell both modes ("applies
safe fixes in the mode you choose: Ask first, Safe auto-fix, or
Autopilot"), and paying installs chose them. Shipping the retirement
would have silently downgraded those installs while the sales page still
promised the modes.

If the modes are retired, that needs a dated notice: stop selling them
first, warn installs on those modes in-app, and then re-ship the change.
It should not arrive through an engineering cleanup.

The receipt #2863 landed stays in place; this commit adds the receipt
for the restored content.

rcourtman 339539a0ca Retry registry reads when verifying release container images (#2866)
The first beta's release workflow failed in publish_docker at "Verify
exact tags and signed provenance": gh attestation verify copied an image
blob from Docker Hub and got a 502 Bad Gateway. The verifier calls
docker buildx imagetools inspect and gh attestation verify against
Docker Hub and GHCR with no tolerance for a transient registry error, so
one 5xx fails the whole release, and the train can rerun it only once.

Each of those reads is now retried up to four times with doubling
backoff from 10 seconds. They are idempotent, and a moved tag or an
invalid attestation fails identically on every attempt, so a real
failure is delayed by the backoff and never masked. The script's stdout
is the step output, so each attempt's stdout is captured and only the
successful attempt's is emitted: a failed read that printed half a
manifest cannot corrupt the verified digests. VERIFY_REGISTRY_ATTEMPTS
and VERIFY_REGISTRY_WAIT_SECONDS tune it, validated as small whole
numbers so the retry stays bounded.

Tests use doubles that fail like a dropped connection: transient
attestation reads are retried and only the digest proof is emitted; a
digest read that prints a partial manifest before failing leaves no
trace in the output; an exhausted attempt budget fails with an explicit
error and no output; unbounded settings are rejected. The old assertion
that an unverifiable attestation costs exactly one read now expects the
four attempts. Against the previous script the new tests fail. The
contract records the retry.

Checked: all 9 tests in the verifier's test file pass; the script and
its test are not registered in a subsystem, so the completion guard has
no proof file to require.

Second of the release-path retries after #2862 (release listing 504).

rcourtman db57faf1c0 Retire Patrol's Safe auto-fix and Autopilot modes (#2863)
Patrol now has two modes: **Watch only** reports findings, and **Ask
first** investigates and proposes fixes. Every fix waits in Actions for
an operator to approve and run it. Safe auto-fix (`assisted`) and
Autopilot (`full`) are retired.

Why: schema-v17 telemetry for the week to 2026-10-11 counts 1 assisted
and 2 full installs out of 612 reporting Patrol, and 4 executed Patrol
actions in 30 days, all on one install. No GitHub issue asks for more
autonomy. Meanwhile the automatic path carried its own policy leases,
acknowledgement store, per-resource allowlist, release gate and Colima
lab. Investigation is what paid installs use, so it stays.

Behaviour
- A saved `assisted`, `full` or `autonomous` level reads as `approval`.
Both autonomy update routes refuse those levels with `400
invalid_autonomy_level`. The acknowledgement routes are gone.
- The core Patrol action broker only plans: `Plan` and `Submit` persist
the plan and return. `TestContract_PatrolActionBrokerOnlyPlans` forbids
execution calls in its source.
- Removed:
- `ExecuteUnderPolicy`, the policy authorization lease, and the policy
execution store methods;
  - Autopilot acknowledgement persistence, its routes and its dialog;
- the per-resource automatic-action allowlist: type, API field and
drawer editor. The store column is written as NULL.
- Kept for compatibility:
- `GetPatrolFullModeUnlocked` stays on the extension contract and
reports false;
- historical action records keep their lease and reason codes decodable,
labelled as retired modes.
- The Patrol inbox no longer has a "continuing without a decision"
bucket: every current issue is an operator decision.

Governance
- RG-06 now proves Patrol never executes without an operator decision
(integration tier).
- RG-02/RG-04 and the RA35/RA39/RA40 proof commands point at surviving
tests. Every `-run` name was checked against `git grep '^func Test'`.
- Pro plan copy, AI docs, privacy telemetry wording and the subsystem
contracts describe the two modes.

Verification
- Go: vet is clean. config, ai, ai/qualification, telemetry,
actionlifecycle, unifiedresources, aicontracts and api pass on
pulse-dev.
- Frontend: type-check and lint are clean; 217 related test files pass.
- Governance: release_control Python suites, status/registry audits and
the docs mirror pass.
- Browser: a pulse-enterprise build of this tree with a Pro licence, run
before and after merging onto main:
  - the Patrol selector has exactly two modes, and each save reads back;
  - retired levels get 400, and the acknowledgement route returns 404;
  - the drawer Manage tab has no allowlist editor and still saves;
  - phone width is fine; the plan page shows no retired modes.

rcourtman afc4c9275d Retire Patrol's Safe auto-fix and Autopilot modes
Patrol could run some fixes on its own in two paid modes: assisted (Safe

Schema-v17 telemetry for the week to 2026-10-11 counts 1 assisted and 2

rcourtman d897fc52ce Retry the release listing so a GitHub 504 cannot fail a release
The first beta's release workflow failed in create_release at "Locate
existing release". That step reads up to 100 releases with every asset,
about 25 MB, in one call, and GitHub answered it with an HTTP 504. The
step has no pipefail, so the failed read reached jq as empty input and
the job ended with exit code 5. Timing the call from a workstation, one
of three tries returned an error body, so this is not rare.

Retry the read up to five times with the same backoff the asset upload
uses, and accept only a complete listing of valid pages. A failed or
truncated read must never look like "no existing release": that answer
would stage a duplicate draft for a tag that already has one. Exhausting
the attempts fails the job with an explicit error. The listing call and
the downstream handling of an existing draft are unchanged.

Run the real step script in the release policy test against doubles for
gh and sleep: two 504s then a complete listing finds the draft after
backoff of 15s and 30s; a read that exits 0 but is truncated every time
fails after five attempts, with the capped backoff and no outputs; and a
complete listing without the tag still means no existing release. Against
the previous step the test fails with the production symptom, exit 5 and
the 504 message. The create-release pin list and the contract record the
retry.

Contract-Neutral: Release workflow reliability only; no published artifact, tag, signing, install or customer contract changes.

rcourtman 39f988b220 Remove AI Discovery
AI Discovery ran a separate model-backed service scanner beside Patrol
and the Assistant: its own store, scheduler, model route, API, tool and
drawer UI. No telemetry counter ever measured its use (the telemetry
discovery_enabled flag OR'd it with network subnet discovery), the
maintainer judged it a flop, and the context it produced is already
available to the models through pulse_query, pulse_read and the
unified-resource context sections.

This deletes internal/servicediscovery, internal/ai/infradiscovery, the
pulse_discovery tool, the /api/discovery routes, the mock Discovery
fixtures, the Discovery tabs in the resource, guest, node and Docker host
drawers, the identified-service cards, readiness badges, provenance
markers, suggested web-interface URLs, the Workloads AI Context column,
the chat "Discovery is off" hint and the AI Service Context settings page.
The old settings route redirects to Assistant settings. The model-bound
sanitizer allow-list existed only to pass Discovery context through, so it
goes too, along with the CopyableCodeRow primitive that only the
Discovery tab used.

Network subnet discovery (/api/discover, the Infrastructure discovery
settings) and the discoveryTarget agent coordinates are separate features
and stay. Stored discovery_enabled, discovery_interval_hours and
discovery_model AI settings are ignored on load; the settings API decoder
is lenient, so older frontends saving those fields still succeed.

- UI paths and labels that no longer exist (Settings > Relay, Platform
connections, Access Control, SSO Providers, Create Organization) and
Patrol mode names (now Ask first, Safe auto-fix, Autopilot).
- Wrong values and behaviour: LOG_MAX_AGE=0 does not disable cleanup,
Patrol evidence budget is 10 calls and 12 turns, ALLOW_UNPROTECTED_EXPORT
covers private networks too, PULSE_AUDIT_ASYNC defaults on.
- Agent install: install.sh ignores PULSE_ENABLE_KUBERNETES and
PULSE_ENABLE_PROXMOX, rejects --disable-auto-update, and the token
fallback lives in the state directory.
- API: audit endpoints answer 402 on Community, onboarding QR is GET,
type=container is rejected, several routes need admin plus a scope.
- HTTP_REDIRECT_PORT was not documented anywhere.

Docs are mirrored under frontend-modern/public/docs, so each change is
applied to both copies. The tests that pinned the old wording (including
three that asserted claims the code contradicts) are updated alongside.

Contract-Neutral: Customer docs corrected to match shipped behaviour; no runtime, API or contract change.

pulse-triage[bot] 0eca75915b Register native updater ownership and ordered proof routes
Repair candidate preflight's two registry failures without weakening the audit: declare the native harness as deployment-installability runtime and order its exact dedicated proof paths. Add live-route and adverse drift regression controls, and record canonical ownership in the contract.

rcourtman 1d6d2bfcae Remove the inert Assistant Protected guests setting
Settings > Assistant offered a Protected guests list (protected_guests)
that was saved and pushed into the Assistant tool executor, but its only
reader was executeControlGuest, which nothing calls. pulse_control plans
through the shared action lifecycle and never consulted the list, so a
guest named in it (by VMID and by name) was planned like any other. The
"legacy" label added in #2765 states that limit; this removes the
setting instead of keeping a field that cannot do its job.

The canonical way to keep Pulse off a resource is its operator lock
(Never auto-remediate, or a Retired lifecycle). It is keyed by canonical
resource id, applies to every platform, and the action lifecycle refuses
dispatch for it even for approved plans. The one gap was planning: the
lifecycle plans without reading operator state, so the Assistant could
leave a plan in Actions that can never run. assistantTypedActionPlanner
now reads the state through the tenant-scoped lifecycle store (the same
read Patrol's broker uses) and declines before Plan, and pulse_control
reports the block with how to clear it. A state that cannot be read does
not refuse planning, because dispatch re-checks.

Removed: AIConfig.ProtectedGuests and its getter, the settings API
field, the executor field/setter/config, the chat service plumbing, the
Settings field and form state, and the legacy copy, pins and prose from
#2765. A stored value still loads (tolerant decode) and is dropped the
next time the settings are written; older PUT bodies that send the key
are ignored. The Settings panel points at the guest's Manage tab.

pulse-triage[bot] 53b516c560 Keep browser guard Git fixtures free of background writers
Canonical Governance run 38016670825 passed browser admission but failed strict temporary .git cleanup during the two-order receipt-pruning test. Isolate both disposable fixture builders from runner configuration and disable automatic GC, maintenance and fsmonitor locally, including bare Git calls made by the guard. Trace real pruning merges and test hostile ambient configuration without suppressing cleanup errors or weakening receipt checks.

pulse-triage[bot] 6488742416 Clarify legacy Assistant protection limits and contain mode menu
The current canonical resource planner does not consult the retained guest list. Label that compatibility data honestly and link its accessible limitation without discarding saved policy. Keep the review-only mode menu within the composer on phones, with geometry and resize controls.

Reconcile the old autonomous-mode test with the explicit core-owned investigation flag, preserving saved preferences and legacy approvals. Mounted settings, parent-discriminating copy/menu checks, help mirrors and final-byte browser receipts cover the existing flow.

pulse-triage[bot] 1927020ba2 Make Assistant controls describe governed action planning
Project interactive Assistant controls to Read-only and Ask first without migrating legacy stored preferences or relaxing entitlement, legacy command approval, scoped execution or Patrol policy. Preserve stored policy even when an older client echoes the projected mode on an unrelated save. Explain saved Actions plans and operator review in existing Settings, Chat and help.

Add saved-client and encrypted-config compatibility, authenticated plan-only access, active-stream and scope regression controls with parent comparisons. Record inspected final-byte desktop/phone browser proof and the affected subsystem contracts.

pulse-triage[bot] 440137890e Build Core E2E test images once per exact workflow run
Replace nine identical image build pairs with one same-run artifact producer. Admit the producer's manifest, checkout, run, attempt, archive and loaded image identities before starting each isolated stack. Keep fixed registry pins, local seed defaults, every journey gate and existing browser budgets. Provider refusals remain terminal without mirrors, login, pull retries or rebuild fallbacks. Record the contract and narrowly scoped regression proof.

pulse-triage[bot] 7956e32071 Align update-help assertions with integrated ownership safeguards
Correct the PI wording assertion after preserving newer canonical help in the merge. Require command-free LXC/systemd entries, linked ownership and installed-path checks, private Pro protection and retained chart/software guidance rather than restoring an older copied command.

Contract-Neutral: Integration-only documentation assertion alignment; update behaviour, routes and trust boundaries are unchanged.

Keep server-update help from treating a community helper as Pulse's signed updater or choosing a Helm chart as a server archive. Preserve current-state checks, full-state backup precautions and the existing signed route after a failed update.

Contract-Neutral: Clarifies existing update routes and release identities; no runtime, API, release policy or subsystem contract change.

rcourtman 1289728ded Point dev:verify at the Proxmox backups layout spec
The managed proof pack behind `npm run dev:verify` still named
tests/17-recovery-layout.spec.ts, which 1c38d79937 replaced with
tests/17-proxmox-backups-layout.spec.ts in July. The registered proof for
scripts/hot-dev-bg.sh pinned the stale path, so nothing flagged it.

The stale path did not fail the pack. Playwright treats each spec path as
a filter, so `test --list` with main's arguments reports 10 tests in 2
files and exits 0: the Proxmox backups layout guard had silently dropped
out of dev:verify.

The replacement spec reads the mock-mode estate, while dev:verify attaches
to the managed runtime in whatever mode it was left in. Under the managed
runtime it now skips with a `npm run mock:on` hint when mock mode is off,
instead of flipping modes in place: Monitor.SetMockMode clears the
runtime's active alerts and in-memory history on every switch. The Core
E2E harness runs mock mode and is unaffected.

test-hot-dev-bg.sh now pins the new spec and checks that every spec the
default verify command names exists under tests/integration; against
main's hot-dev-bg.sh that check fails on the retired path. The integration
README and its pin, the deployment-installability contract clause, and two
unused RECOVERY_PRODUCT_SURFACE_EXACT_FILES lists naming deleted files are
brought in line.

rcourtman 15322e1573 Drop contract prose for the deleted problem-resource surfaces (#2706)
Contract prose still described surfaces that no longer exist:

- `frontend-primitives.md` told new route-level copy to extend
`problemResourcePresentation` (deleted in ae65c5e9a2), tied that helper
to `ProblemResourcesTable.tsx` (deleted with the dashboard overview in
c743a231b8), and kept a readability rule for that table and the
dashboard Pulse Brief. No live surface implements the rule; Patrol's
grouping and affected-resource counts are governed in
`patrol-intelligence.md`. The ownership paragraph and the rule are
dropped, and problem-resource joins the list of deleted dashboard
helpers that must not return.
- `unified-resources.md` said the change and correlation summary cards
default Infrastructure resource-filter links for the Patrol page and the
problem-resource dashboard panels. Since the 2026-05-16 drilldown
retirement the cards have no link default and render only in the
resource drawer, which passes no link builder.
- `api-contracts.md` named the dashboard Pulse Brief as a sender of
`autonomous_mode:false` and described the field as a client override.
Since 4edf5f8265, `ChatRequest` has no such field: the server runs every
`/api/ai/chat` exchange in approval-required mode (pinned by
`TestHandleChat_CannotElevateAutonomousModePerRequest`), and the field
is dropped at decode.

The new `subsystem_lookup_test.py` case pins the deleted helper as
unowned, next to the other retired dashboard paths.

Verification: `contract_audit.py`, `registry_audit.py` and
`status_audit.py` pass with `--check`; the retired-path lookup tests
pass (9/9); the full pre-commit battery passed. No frontend or backend
runtime files change.

rcourtman 60527fa8ab Drop contract prose for the deleted problem-resource surfaces
frontend-primitives.md still told new route-level copy to extend
problemResourcePresentation, deleted in ae65c5e9a2, and kept a paragraph
tying that helper to ProblemResourcesTable.tsx, deleted with the dashboard
overview in c743a231b8. It also kept a readability rule for that table and
the dashboard Pulse Brief. Neither surface exists and no live surface
implements the rule; Patrol's grouping and affected-resource counts are
governed in patrol-intelligence.md. Drop the ownership paragraph and the
rule, and list problem-resource among the deleted dashboard helpers that
must not return.

unified-resources.md still said the change and correlation summary cards
default Infrastructure resource-filter links for the Patrol page and the
problem-resource dashboard panels. Since the 2026-05-16 drilldown
retirement the cards have no link default and render only in the resource
drawer, which passes no link builder, so labels show as plain text.
api-contracts.md named the dashboard Pulse Brief as a sender of
autonomous_mode:false and described that field as a client override. Since
4edf5f8265 ChatRequest has no autonomous_mode field: the server runs every
/api/ai/chat exchange in approval-required mode, as
TestHandleChat_CannotElevateAutonomousModePerRequest pins, and the field
that scoped handoffs still send is dropped at decode. Say so, and stop
calling Patrol finding handoffs stricter than ordinary chat.

The new lookup test pins the deleted helper as unowned, next to the other
retired dashboard paths, so the dropped ownership claim cannot come back
through the registry unnoticed.
