Initially, I thought presenting the recording feature as a beta would clearly signal that it was still under construction and being improved. In practice, it sent a negative signal to users, reduced trust, and still generated many questions for the support team. Without clearly explaining why the feature was in beta or what was coming next, the label only added confusion. I chose to simplify the interface and remove the beta indication altogether.
