Ghislain LE MEUR 59d4c2583b 🐛(auth) fix LiveKit token authentication field mismatch
Fixes "Invalid LiveKit token" errors caused by field mismatch between
token generation and authentication lookup.

Previously:
- generate_token() used user.sub as token identity
- LiveKitTokenAuthentication tried to retrieve user via user.id field
- This failed when sub was not a UUID (e.g., from LemonLDAP OIDC provider)

Now:
- generate_token() continues using user.sub (canonical OIDC identifier)
- LiveKitTokenAuthentication correctly looks up by sub field
- Both sides now consistently use the same field

This ensures compatibility with all RFC 7519-compliant OIDC providers,
regardless of their sub claim format.

lebaudantoine f48dd5cea1 (backend) add start-subtitle endpoint
Allow any user, anonymous or authenticated, to start subtitling
in a room only if they are an active participant of it.

Subtitling a room consists of starting the multi-user transcriber agent.
This agent forwards all participants' audio to an STT server and returns
transcription segments for any active voice to the room.

User roles in the backend room system cannot be used
to determine subtitle permissions.

The transcriber agent can be triggered multiple times but will only join a
room once. Unicity is managed by the agent itself.
Any user with a valid LiveKit token can initiate subtitles. Feature flag
logic is implemented on the frontend. The frontend ensures the "start
subtitle" action is only available to users who should see it. The backend
does not enforce feature flags in this version.

Authentication in our system does not imply access to a room. The only
valid proof of access is the LiveKit API token issued by the backend.
Security consideration: A LiveKit API token is valid for 6 hours and
cannot be revoked at the end of a meeting. It is important to verify
that the token was issued for the correct room.

Calls to the agent dispatch endpoint must be server-initiated. The backend
proxies these calls, as clients cannot securely contact the agent dispatch
endpoint directly (per LiveKit documentation).

Room ID is passed as a query parameter. There is currently no validation
ensuring that the room exists prior to agent dispatch.
TODO: implement validation or error handling for non-existent rooms.

The backend does not forward LiveKit tokens to the agent. Default API
rate limiting is applied to prevent abuse.

Remove translation markers from backend strings that are never displayed to
users. Streamlines localization process by focusing only on user-visible
content that requires actual translation.

lebaudantoine 28538b63da (backend) add env variable to configure marketing service timeout
This change allows the marketing service timeout to be easily adjusted
via an environment variable, eliminating the need for a new software release.
Additionally, the update makes the code more explicit and easier to maintain.

These modules are already stored under the 'service' folder, it was redundant.
Renamed these files based on @lunika feedbacks.

lebaudantoine 4c0230d537 (backend) post email to marketing tools while signing up new users
Submitting new users to the marketing service is currently handled
during signup and is performed only once.

This is a pragmatic first implementation, yet imperfect.

In the future, this should be improved by delegating the call to a Celery
worker or an async task.

lebaudantoine 82bb5f0f8b (backend) persist OIDC first name and last name while authenticating
Inspired by @sampaccoud's eee2003 commit on impress, adapt the code to be more
Pythonic. Add basic test coverage for user name synchronization on login. User
name fields now update automatically at each login when new data is available.

Note: current logic doesn't handle the case where a user with existing names
logs in with missing first/last names - should we clear the names then?

Removing a field that was present in the initial form is not a valid update
operation.

lebaudantoine 5ef6359b7c 🛂(backend) fallback to email matching when OIDC sub is not found
When OIDC providers return random values in the "sub" field instead of stable
identifiers, implement email-based user matching as fallback.

Note: Current implementation needs improvement. Tests forthcoming.

lebaudantoine 271b598cee 📈(backend) introduce analytics
In this commit, we'll integrate a third-party service to track user events.
We start by using the `identify` method to track sign-ins and sign-ups.

Additionally, we use the `track` method to monitor custom events such as room
creation, access token generation, and logouts. This will provide us with
valuable data on current usage patterns.

The analytics library operates by opening a queue in a separate thread for
posting events, ensuring it remains non-blocking for the API. Let's test
this in a real-world scenario.

lebaudantoine d167490c09 (backend) support silent login
Silent login attempts to re-authenticate the user without interaction,
provided they have an active session, improving UX by reducing manual auth.

It's an essential feature to really feel the SSO in La Suite.

A new query parameter, 'silent', allows the client to initiate a silent login.
In this flow, an extra parameter, 'prompt=none', is passed to the OIDC provider.

The requested flow is persisted in session data to adapt the authentication
callback behavior.

In a silent login flow, an authentication failure should not be considered as a
real failure. Instead, users should be redirected back to the originating view.
A silent login fails when user has no active session.

Why return the 'success_url'? The 'success_url' will redirect the user agent to
the 'returnTo' parameter provided when requesting authentication.
It's necessary to enable a silent login on any URL.

Minimal test coverage has been added for these two custom views to ensure
correct behavior.

lebaudantoine 64efcc1623 🚚(backend) rename Impress to Meet
I have updated all references of "Impress" to "Meet".
Migrations were manually updated and not regenerated. Never-mind,
they all will be squashed before the first release.

I have also searched for reference to "Magnify", and replaced them
by "Meet".

While updating the backend sources, I have also fixed other parts of
the project, namely:
- Compose file
- Github documentation and CI
- Makefile commands

Samuel Paccoud - DINUM 5b1a2b20de (project) Django boilerplate
This commit introduces a boilerplate inspired by https://github.com/numerique-gouv/impress.
The code has been cleaned to remove unnecessary Impress logic and dependencies.

Changes made:
- Removed Minio, WebRTC, and create bucket from the stack.
- Removed the Next.js frontend (it will be replaced by Vite).
- Cleaned up impress-specific backend logics.

The whole stack remains functional:
- All tests pass.
- Linter checks pass.
- Agent Connexion sources are already set-up.

Why clear out the code?

To adhere to the KISS principle, we aim to maintain a minimalist codebase. Cloning Impress
allowed us to quickly inherit its code quality tools and deployment configurations for staging,
pre-production, and production environments.

What’s broken?
- The tsclient is not functional anymore.
- Some make commands need to be fixed.
- Helm sources are outdated.
- Naming across the project sources are inconsistent (impress, visio, etc.)
- CI is not configured properly.

This list might be incomplete. Let's grind it.
