- Images tab: list, inspect and delete docker images, with a
force-delete fallback when an image is in use.
- Disk Usage tab: docker system df summary as stat cards plus a
Build Cache table (docker system df -v) with a prune action.
dockerSafeExec's busy-wait matched any process with "docker <letter>"
anywhere in its argv (e.g. Grafana's --packaging=docker cfg:...),
causing the wait loop to spin forever. Anchor the match to the actual
docker binary (argv[0]) instead, and add a MAX_WAIT ceiling so a
genuinely stuck docker process can't hang cleanup indefinitely either.
Also log failures in cleanupAll's catch instead of swallowing them,
since the scheduled cleanup path only goes through this function.
Fixes#5044
- Added support for managing various vault providers (HashiCorp, AWS, Azure, Doppler, Infisical) in the dashboard.
- Implemented environment variable resolution using vault references, allowing seamless integration of secrets into application environments.
- Enhanced UI components to display and manage vault providers effectively.
- Introduced tests for vault reference resolution and environment variable preparation.
- Updated related components to utilize new vault management features.
Dokploy stopped using Redis in v0.29.9 when the deployment queue moved
to an in-memory implementation, and install.sh no longer creates the
dokploy-redis service. Remove the remaining references so fresh installs
don't report Redis as unhealthy:
- checkRedisHealth from infrastructure health check
- cleanRedis/reloadRedis endpoints and their UI actions
- initializeRedis dev setup and redis-connection config
- unused bullmq dependency
- Added functionality for assigning Docker networks to services, allowing users to manage network associations directly from the UI.
- Introduced new components for assigning networks to both individual services and compose files, improving user experience and flexibility.
- Updated existing components to integrate network assignment features, ensuring seamless interaction within the dashboard.
- Enhanced the database schema to support new network-related fields, including `networkIds` and `detachDokployNetwork`, for better service configuration.
- Improved the layout and responsiveness of various UI elements to accommodate new features and enhance usability.
quote() the user-derived paths that reach the shell in file mounts
(mount.ts, docker getCreateFileCommand), patch repo read (repoPath/filePath),
certificate create/remove (certificatePath), and the remote scheduled command
(containerId/shellType/command/logPath), so $(), backticks and traversal in
these fields can no longer inject commands.
- Introduced a new column `bookmarkedTemplates` to the user table to store user-specific template bookmarks.
- Updated API methods to manage bookmarked templates, replacing the deprecated user_template_bookmarks table.
- Adjusted queries to retrieve and toggle bookmarks directly from the user record.
- Added DockerDiskUsageChart component to visualize Docker disk usage data.
- Refactored existing chart components (DockerBlockChart, DockerCpuChart, DockerDiskChart, DockerMemoryChart, DockerNetworkChart) to use a consistent ChartContainer and updated chart configurations.
- Improved tooltip functionality and styling across all charts for better user experience.
- Integrated new API endpoint for fetching Docker disk usage data.
- Added health check functionality for PostgreSQL, Redis, and Traefik services before updating the web server.
- Introduced a modal state management system to guide users through the verification and update process.
- Updated UI components to display service health status and relevant messages during the update workflow.
- Refactored the update server button to reflect the latest version and availability of updates.
Docker Swarm's default FailureAction is "pause". When a task fails or is
terminated early during a rolling update, Swarm pauses the update and
stops ALL reconciliation — orphan containers persist indefinitely, even
when healthy. This is the root cause of orphan container issues reported
in production (services showing Replicas: N/1 with multiple healthy
containers that never get cleaned up).
Setting FailureAction to "rollback" makes Swarm automatically revert to
the previous working service spec on failure, preventing orphans while
preserving service availability. Also adds a default RollbackConfig with
Order: "start-first" to match the update config (Docker defaults rollback
to "stop-first" otherwise).
Only affects the default config — users who have configured their own
updateConfigSwarm/rollbackConfigSwarm are not affected.
Relates to #1669, #2223, #2911, #2150
Change Drizzle column mode from "bigint" to "number" for stopGracePeriodSwarm
across all 6 service schemas. This fixes JSON.stringify failing silently in the
@dokploy/trpc-openapi adapter, which unlike the tRPC endpoint does not use
superjson and cannot serialize BigInt values.
No database migration needed — only the JS representation changes. The values
are nanosecond grace periods that fit safely within Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER.
Also adds onError logging and export const config to the OpenAPI route handler
to match the tRPC route and improve debuggability.
Fixes#3793
Users deploying to Docker Swarm can now configure resource ulimits
(nofile, nproc, etc.) to prevent applications from hitting system
limits that cause crashes or degraded performance.
- Added a new `cleanupAllBackground` function to execute Docker cleanup commands in the background, allowing for immediate return and avoiding gateway timeouts.
- Refactored existing cleanup functions to utilize a centralized `cleanupCommands` object for better maintainability and readability.
- Added `prepareEnvironmentVariablesForShell` function to properly escape environment variables for shell usage.
- Updated various builders (Docker, Heroku, Nixpacks, Paketo, Railpack) to utilize the new function for improved handling of special characters in environment variables.
- Introduced tests to validate the handling of environment variables with various special characters, ensuring robustness in shell command execution.
- Added `shell-quote` dependency to manage quoting of shell arguments effectively.
