🎯 GPU Optimization Summary - Web Panel

✅ Changes Made

   • ❌ Removed heavy gradient animation (transform, scale, rotate)
   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter: blur(10px)
   • ✅ Simplified hover effects in buttons
   • ✅ Added will-change for GPU optimization
   • ✅ Shortened animation times (0.3s → 0.2s)

2. web/static/sidebar.css

   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter: blur(20px) in .sidebar
   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter: blur(20px) in .main-navbar
   • ✅ Used solid background rgba(20, 20, 20, 0.95)
   • ✅ Used translate3d for better GPU acceleration

3. web/templates/index_v15.html

   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter in inline styles (.sidebar)
   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter in .settings-card
   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter in .users-table-container
   • ❌ Disabled backdrop-filter in .about-card

📝 Instructions for Users

1. Restart browser:

# Close browser completely and restart

2. Clear cache:

Ctrl + Shift + Delete → Clear cached images and files

3. Check results:

• Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc)
• "Performance" tab → "GPU"
• Panel should use < 15% GPU

4. Optional - Additional optimization:

If problems still occur, add in HTML after style.css:

And uncomment PROFILE 1 or PROFILE 4 in the performance-config.css file.

🧪 How to Test?

Chrome DevTools Test:

1. Press F12
2. Performance tab
3. Click Record (●)
4. Use the panel for 10 seconds
5. Stop and check:

✅ GPU: < 20% (should be 5-15%)
✅ FPS: > 55 (should be 58-60)
✅ Rendering: < 2ms per frame
✅ Compositing: < 1.5ms per frame

🐛 Troubleshooting

Problem: Still high GPU usage

Solution:

1. Update GPU drivers
2. Enable hardware acceleration: chrome://settings/system
3. Close other browser tabs
4. Disable extensions (incognito mode)
5. Use PROFILE 4 in performance-config.css

Problem: Panel looks different

Solution:

• This is normal - removing blur effects changes appearance slightly
• If you have a powerful GPU, you can enable PROFILE 3 to restore effects
• Functionality remains identical

Problem: Animations don't work

Solution:

• Check if you have PROFILE 1 or PROFILE 4 enabled
• Check browser settings (animation may be disabled)
